Wonderings and Wanderings
I’ve been on the fence on creating my own little corner on the internet for awhile now, after several bouts of procrastination and imposter syndrome getting in the way. Lately, I’ve been withdrawing from posting on social media, and have been more selective and intentional on who I let into my space. But at a recent panel that I moderated with some fellow female entrepreneurs and creatives, one quote stuck in my head for awhile. “Start before you’re ready.” It continued to whisper in my ear continually the last few months, until I finally decided to do something about it.
Welcome to Destination Dossier, once an anonymous Instagram and an ode to my love for iPhone photography and portraiture capturing my favorite places, spaces, aesthetics, and details. Now it’s going to be more or less the same, as well as an extension of my professional self, all rolled into one web portal highlighting my services across copywriting, content strategy, content curation, events and partnerships.
I titled this post “Wanderings and Wonderings” because this Substack will be exactly that— a place to share all of the above, in addition to my experiences as someone who has flip-flopped around the world (often without a plan, or without a return plane ticket), existing in the grey space between digital nomad, repatriate, and expatriate.
